Every time the new Top Ten Most Challenged list comes out, I like to take a look at the previous year to see what books are new, what books have stayed, etc. Here’s the 2015 list.

There are 3 books that stayed on the list from the previous year: Looking for Alaska, Two Boys Kissing, and I Am Jazz. The most interesting new addition to me is the Little Bill series, which has been challenged for criminal sexual allegations against the author. I’m going off the top of my head here, but I can’t recall a time in recent history that a book has been on this list due to the author and not the content of the actual book itself. Am I wrong?
