The Picks:
Gronk A Monster’s Story Volume 2 GN – Action Lab Entertainment brings the popular kids webcomic to print in full color. Gronk is a monster who turns her back on monsterdom after no one finds her scary. Fascinated with humans, she moves in with human Dale and her pets Kitty and a 160 lb Newfoundland. Gronk is learning to adjust to our world through Dale’s teachings, even though she’s probably the last person who should be teaching anyone to adjust to the real world. Gronk is a sweet comic filled with humor and silly hijinks that kids and adults will love.
Marvel Universe Avengers Assemble Season Two #7 – Marvel continues their all ages Avengers comic. Odin, the father of Avengers member Thor, the God of Thunder, has become fed up with his son’s dealings with mortals. He orders Thor back to Asgard, where he must convince the Allfather that he is doing good on Earth, or else never leave Asgard again. With Avengers 2: Age of Ultron dominating theaters and conversations, this title is a great way to satisfy younger readers’ appetites for the cinematic superheroes, especially if they can’t see the movie yet.
