malevolent Mr. Burns 194x300 This Weeks Comics: Amazing or MalevolentMalevolent Mr Burns #1 (One Shot) – Bongo Comics continues its spotlights on the minor characters of The Simpsons with this latest issue. Mr. Burns, the monomaniacal scourge of Springfield, is the subject of this one-shot, because he demanded it. Enter his billionaire boy’s club to see him at a miserly masterpiece of penny-pinching proportions. Joined by this sycophant Smithers, this senior citizen centenarian will bring laughter to the young and young at heartless. This issue also includes a mask of the Fruit Bat Man, the superhero alter ego of Mr. Burns. With well known creators such as Gail Simone and Jason Ho providing stories for this book, it’s sure to tickle the funny bone. Kids and adults will no doubt love this issue, and the mask.

amazing agent luna vol9 full 200x300 This Weeks Comics: Amazing or MalevolentAmazing Agent Luna Volume 9 GN – Seven Seas releases the ninth volume in what is probably the longest running OEL manga to date! Luna Collins, the genetically engineered super spy, is missing. The rogue agency known as Knightfall has lured her away from the Agency that trained her. Welcomed by open arms, Luna has left behind everything and everyone she holds dear. It’s now up to her friends and family to bring her back from the dark side before it’s too late. Amazing Agent Luna is one of the very few US created manga-inspired titles to still being going. It, along with its spin-off Amazing Agent Jennifer, has shown that good writing and art are just as important as country of origin. This title is a must for any tween/teen or graphic novel collection.
