You’ll want to share this event and its resources with the classroom teachers you are helping to flip.
On September 6, the Flipped Learning Network will host the first global Flip Your Classroom Day.
To celebrate, the network encourages teachers everywhere to pledge to flip one lesson in the hope that the flipping experience will be a sticky one.
The campaign offers a variety of resources to support flipping–and teaching in general–and encourages both creating and curating.
To support creating your own flipped content:
TechSmith shares tutorials on how to identify a lesson, and organize, record, review and share your screencast, as well as a 30-day free trial and a discount for their Snagit program Adobe Presenter shares video instruction for creating videos using its software and offers 30-day free trials, as well.
And to support curating, or the integrating the content of others in local instruction, a group of companies and non-profits have contributed lists of lessons for Flipped Day.
