There’s a new (free) camp in town. No bus necessary. Camp Google is designed to engage kids ages seven through ten in creative science activities.
Each week students explore provocative questions and themes with experts across the globe, courtesy of such impressive partners as:

This week is Ocean Week. Kids explore such questions as: What’s down there? Why do some things float? How do dolphins see underwater? They begin by diving into the Atlantic to meet National Geographic’s oceanographers and dive buddies, Sylvia Earle and Erika Bergman. They explore reef habitats and underwater wildlife via cool ROV cameras.
Coming up are Space Week (July 20), Nature Week (July 27), and Music Week (August 3). Supplies (mostly available around the house) are listed for each week. Students may earn badges for completed activities.
