“A Fuse #8 Production” has won an Eddie Digital Award as the best blog in the B-to-B (business to business) category government/public sector/education. The award was announced at the 2016 FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie Awards luncheon held at the New York Hilton on October 31. Written by Elizabeth Bird, collection development manager at Evanston (IL) Public Library, “A Fuse #8 Production” is part of the School Library Journal (SLJ) network of blogs. A popular resource on the world of children’s literature, “Fuse 8” includes reviews, news, and commentary, all featuring the wit and wisdom of Bird, who has written several books, including Wild Things: Acts of Mischief in Children’s Literature (Candlewick, 2014), co-written by bloggers Peter Sieruta and Julie Danielson.
