1 4 Temple Fault SLJ BoB: Stars v Grandin

What was my prediction? “The Fault in Our Stars. I have read neither book, but Caletti is a young adult author and Fault is a young adult book, plus everyone who reads it loves.”

Short version: I WAS RIGHT!!!!!  I AM ON A ROLL LIKE A ROLLING STONE!!!!! I AM ON A ROLL LIKE A PORKROLL SANDWICH!!! I AM ON A ROLL LIKE….

OK, you get the picture.

Longer version: So, yes, Caletti picked TFiOS, but did she love it? You decide:

“He made a Nerdfighter out of me.”

“I love a perfect sentence and a just-right image.  I love a moment on the page that makes you say, “Ahh.” And so…  Let there be birthday cake upon birthday cake.   Balloons and confetti, too.”

Yep, I’d call that love.
