This gory summer trilogy is based on RL Stine’s bestselling "Fear Street" series. There's a high nostalgia factor for millennials, and at least one of the movies stars Sadie Sink of Stranger Things fame. Fans of campy horror and slasher films are likely to be the most enthusiastic audience.

Gr 9 Up–Makani Young, a biracial (Black and Native Hawaiian) teen, fears her secret past will be exposed as police investigate a series of murders in her Nebraska high school. Fans of the slasher genre will appreciate this fast-paced gory horror story.
