On January 18, at the Blue Water Grill in Manhattan, Abrams Books for Young Readers celebrated the forthcoming publication of Caldecott Honor Winner Jillian Tamaki's first picture book,
They Say Blue (Mar. 2018), in which a young girl explores the natural world with a sense of wonder, open to the sights, sounds, and colors around her. The book received a starred review in
School Library Journal: "Attuned to a child’s psychology and patterns of critical thinking, this visually stunning work is a must-purchase for libraries."
