Pictures of the Week: Rundell and Almhjell Cross the Atlantic to Launch New Kids' Books

London-based writer Katherine Rundell met with librarians and booksellers in New York City this week to chat about her middle grade novel, Rooftoopers. Illustrator Ian Schoenherr and Norwegian author Tone Almhjell celebrated the release of Almhjell's debut fantasy novel, The Twistrose Key.

Illustrator Ian Schoenherr and author Tone Almhjell celebrated the release of Almhjell's debut fantasy novel, The Twistrose Key (Dial, 2013) on October 21. She traveled from Oslo, Norway for the book launch and tour. Londoner Katherine Rundell met with librarians and booksellers in New York City to chat about her middle grade novel Rooftoopers (S & S) on October 23, which was longlisted for the Guardian's children's fiction prize.
