Rosen Publishing, Lilead Project Announce Grants for SLJ Summit Attendees

The grants will allow eleven Lilead Fellows to attend the 2015 SLJ Leadership Summit in Seattle on September 26–27.
RosenRosen Publishing and the Lilead Project, a national initiative to study school district library supervisors and leadership, have announced 11 recipients of travel grants in the amount of $500 each. These grants will allow Lilead Fellows to attend the 2015 SLJ Leadership Summit in Seattle on September 26–27. Read the full press release.
Rosen Publishing and the Lilead Project are pleased to announce the award of eleven (11) travel grants, of $500 each, to enable Lilead Fellows to attend the School Library Journal Leadership Summit in Seattle, Washington on September 26-27, 2015. Given the strength of the applications, Rosen has generously agreed to expand funding from the original ten spots. Rosen congratulates the following recipients: Priscille Dando, Fairfax County Public Schools, Virginia Erin Downey, Boise School District, Idaho Susan Grigsby, Forsyth County Schools, Georgia Mary Keeling, Newport News Public Schools, Virginia Kathryn Lewis, Norman Public Schools, Oklahoma Kathy Moore, San Ramon Valley Unified School District, California Suzanna Panter, Henrico County Public Schools, Virginia Carol Robinson, Orofino Joint School District #171, Idaho Sarah Searles, Knox County Schools, Tennessee Dedra Van Gelder, Charles County Public Schools, Maryland Leslie Yoder, Saint Paul Public Schools, Minnesota The SLJ Summit will enable participants to explore new strategies for addressing the challenging problem(s) they are tackling as a Lilead Fellows, as well as share the urgent work of the Lilead Fellows Program with colleagues at the Summit and throughout the country. Together, we "dare greatly," with courage and creativity, to do vital work for learning communities. Rosen Publishing is honored and humbled to be on this journey with you. Rosen will host a dinner for the Fellows Friday evening, September 25, following the opening reception.
