On Saturday, May 26, at the Café con Libros in Brooklyn, NY, Latinx in Publishing, and School Library Journal hosted a fundraiser to benefit libraries in Puerto Rico. The event featured Celia Pérez, the author of the middle grade novel The First Rule of Punk (Viking, 2017), who was interviewed by SLJ's Reviews Manager Shelley Diaz.
