YALSA Announces 2020 Morris Award Finalists for Debut YA Books

The Young Adult Library Services Association has announced the finalists for the 2020 William C. Morris Award, which celebrates the best YA book by a previously unpublished author.

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) has announced the finalists for the 2020 William C. Morris Award, which celebrates the best Morris Award Finalist sealYA book by a previously unpublished author. Of the debut novels selected, two were named Best Books of 2019 by SLJ: Frankly in Love by David Yoon and Genesis Begins Again by Alicia D. Williams.

The winner will be announced at the American Library Association's Midwinter Meeting on January 27.
