Sam & Dave Dig a Hole by Mac Barnett; illustrated by Jon Klassen. On sale Oct. 14, 2014

Jon Klassen recently posted the working cover for his upcoming team-up with Mac Barnett. The story is about two friends with different approaches to digging a hole. After Extra Yarn, I’m game for whatever these two concoct. It even has an interesting back story, which you can read here.

Dang. For their 400th (!) anniversary, Bristol Central Library has made an interactive book sculpture called Book Hive. Motion activated, it “responds to the movements of the library’s visitors”. Book art of the highest order.
