I feel like I’ve become desensitized to the stuff that turns up on Awful Library Books. There’s just so much bad. But their recent post about The Brown Bottle has shaken me out of my malaise. Sara Pennypacker, the author most well known for Clementine has teamed up with Caldecott Medalist Jon Klassen for this book about a boy and his pet fox. Publishers Weekly interviewed Pennypacker and Klassen about how the book was created. Click here to read it.
