Go out and buy a calendar for next year, buy the fattest red marker allowed by law:

and put a big, squeaky “X” on the entire season of fall 2016. That’s when Raina Telgemeier (who currently holds the 1st, 2nd, and 4th place on the New York Times Bestseller List for paperback graphic novels) releases her next book.

Other announcement options include making a t-shirt and wearing it every day until fall 2016.

Like the polar ice caps, picture book text is receding (wow, that got depressing quick). Why is this happening? Is it a bad thing?
