HarperCollins Releases Enhanced Ebook Version of To Kill a Mockingbird

The enhanced ebook, released November 4 by HarperCollins, features a 1964 radio interview with author Harper Lee, who rarely speaks to the media. The regular ebook edition of To Kill a Mockingbird came out in July 2014.
The enhanced ebook was released November 4 by HarperCollins. From the AP: [The enhanced ebook] features a 1964 radio interview with Lee, who rarely speaks to the media. The regular e-book for “To Kill a Mockingbird,” Lee’s only novel, came out in July. HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis says the new “Mockingbird” edition had received 6,500 pre-orders, far more than for the usual “enhanced” book. She says the publisher has sold 80,000 copies of the regular e-book, a figure comparable to print sales. The enhanced ebook also includes commentaries by Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brokaw, Anna Quindlen, Wally Lamb, and Alice Finch Lee. It also includes footage from the motion picture.
