If you use Google Docs and Slides to create and communicate, you may be interested in how easy it now is to incorporate free, copyright-friendly images into your projects without having to leave your document to search for them. I was surprised to discover my very favorite image portals were available in the form of add-ons.
To install an Add-on, open any Google document or presentation. You’ll find the Add-ons menu to the left of Help. You’ll find “Get Add-ons” on the bottom of the list. Similar to Chrome Extensions, Add-ons add functionality to the applications in the Google suite.
Here are three of my favorite image add-ons to consider.

Top Stock Photos for Google Drive: pulls photos from another of my favorite CC0 portals, Pexels – without ever having to leave the Google Slides interface. When Pexels’ images are not available, the tool seems to default to Pixabay and sources of other free images.
