A picture book with a creative case cover is like a person who wears bold socks (note: my sock drawer is filled to the brim with a single color: dark gray. I am the Steve Jobs of socks), it’s a rarely seen detail, but delightful when discovered.

Gallery: These 2013 Picture Books Have Secrets

Here are the 2015 picture books I’ve spotted that sport creative case covers. There are definitely a lot more examples, but I wasn’t smart enough to snap a picture before they got processed and put into my school library.
