It’s been a while since we have done one of these, so there’s quite a bit to read here. Let’s start with two stories I had a hand in: I talked to Uglydolls co-creator David Horvath and artist Ian McGinty about Uglydolls in general and the comic version they are producing for Viz, and I caught a scoop at C2E2: Mark Waid is launching a Thrillbent Kids site, and he will be publishing Art Baltazar and Franco Aureliani’s Aw Yeah! Comics line digitally; the comics are available now via comiXology. Baltazar and Aureliani are the team behind DC’s Tiny Titans comics; they have brought in an array of other creators to help with their new line.

All hail Heidi MacDonald, who has written the ultimate article on graphic novels and libraries at Publishers Weekly; check it out and you will see many, many familiar faces.
