School Library Journal celebrated Trevelyn Jones, SLJ Book Review Editor, who retired after three decades, and more than 100,000 reviews under her helm.
The event was held at Random House on October 29, and was attended by SLJ and Library Journal staff—past and present—representatives from several children’s publishers, and longtime friends and reviewers. For a look at photos from the festive event, check out the slideshow below: Here’s a sound recording of some of the speeches honoring Jones's stellar work at SLJ:We are currently offering this content for free. I enjoyed working with her, e-talking about depictions of American Indians in children's books. I hate to see her retire, but I wish her well.Posted : Nov 01, 2013 12:36
