Banned Books Week Grant Applications Due April 30

The Judith F. Krug Memorial Fund is disbursing grants to organizations to assist them stage "Read-Outs" or other events for this year's Banned Books Week (September 21 - 27).

The Judith F. Krug Memorial Fund is taking applications for grants for events taking place during Banned Books Week.

Banned Books Week will take place September 21-27 this year, and the Freedom to Read Foundation's Judith F. Krug Memorial Fund is disbursing grants to organizations to assist them stage "Read-Outs" or other events during Banned Books Week. (A Banned Books Week Read-Out is an event at which people gather to read from books that have been banned or challenged over the years, in order to celebrate the freedom to read.)

Further details on application and guidelines can be found here. Applications are due April 30. Grant recipients will be notified on or before June 16.
