Thoughts on Summer Reading Lists from a Public Librarian (and a Mom)
Not every teen can buy a book because
1) No $
2) No local bk store
3) No transport to far bk store

And asking teens to annotate a book, underline, etc means they must buy a copy. Also a problem.

But please always consider sending copies of reading lists to your local library AND putting them online!!!

But most pub libs don't have space/$ for many multiple copies of same titles if they also want to get new & pleasure reading bks for teens
