School Library Journal and the Battle of the Kids' Books (BOB) team (Monica Edinger, Roxanne Feldman, and Jonathan Hunt) are ramping up for this year's March Madness-type online competition taking place from March 10 to April 2. Once again, director of art and production Mark Tuchman's quirky illustrations will be enhancing the tournament's design, from a downloadable PDF poster to keep track of each bout's outcome to anthropomorphized representations of each literary contestant. Here's a sampling of what's to come. Contenders will begin to be announced on January 15.
