ING Unsung Heroes Awards Program

Could you use $2000 to help fund an innovative classroom project? How about $25,000? For more than 15 years, the ING Unsung Heroes award program has inspired success in the classroom and impacted countless numbers of students.
ING UnsungheroesEach year, 100 educators are selected to receive $2,000, and three of these winners are chosen to receive an additional $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000. Previous recipients have created 1-to-1 iPad programs, sustainability projects, and a "Listening for Literacy" MP3 reading improvement scheme. Applicants must be employed by an accredited K-12 public or private school located in the United State, and full-time educators, teachers, principals, paraprofessionals, or classified staff with effective projects that improve student learning. The application deadline is April 30, and the best place to start is with the ING Unsung Heroes Award Application.
