AASL Announces 2021 Best Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning

After a school year when digital tools were vital for educational success, the AASL has announced the year's best.

The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) announced its 2021 Best Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning, recognizing the electronic resources that enhance learning and curriculum development for school librarians and all educators.

With remote and hybrid learning this year, many of these digital tools became the educational lifeline for students and teachers.

“The digital tools honored in 2021 demonstrate how education has stepped up to support remote and blended learning environments," said committee chair Mary Morgan Ryan. The committee focused on access and equity in choosing its top tools, according to Ryan.
