Around this time I start getting the itch to track down all the books coming out from previous Youth Media Award winners. We’ll begin with Geisel today, but look for other batches (Coretta Scott King, Newbery, etc.) headed your way soon.
Listing all the new books from past Geisel winners is tricky, because it’s an award that goes to both the author and illustrator. For this post, I tried to stick with new books that would likely fall under the Geisel consideration umbrella – picture books, early readers, and beginning chapter books.
If I missed any, let me know in the comments.
