At the recent Midwinter Meeting of the American Library Association (ALA) in Philadelphia this January, the Association for Library Service for Children (ALSC) and the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) released their picks for the best audio of 2014. The items selected for ALSC’s Notable Children’s Recordings are intended for listeners 14 years of age and younger, while YALSA’s Amazing Audiobooks list features recordings that will engage young adults between the ages of 12 and 18.
