Gr 5–9—A series of vignettes show middle school students how to build and enhance positive reputations and repair bad ones. The benefits of a positive reputation and the consequences of a negative one are described. Two older teens narrate the well-acted scenarios and address getting along with friends and teachers, being liked, and how a reputation may be damaged and repaired. Online reputations are also briefly discussed with emphasis on how comments made via social media can never be completely deleted. The extensive teacher's guide includes learning objectives, learning indicators, a pre- and post-test, a variety of activities, and fact sheets for students.
