The narrator speaks slowly and clearly, providing basic information and defining unfamiliar terms. Interaction is invited three times during the program: viewers are asked to describe the skin of an alligator, to name the type of environment alligators live in, and to decide what turtle-like animal appears on screen. At the end of the three segments, there is a review and a five-question quiz.
