Gr 10 Up—Some students know exactly what they want to do after graduating from high school, whether continuing their education or starting careers. Others aren't as sure. Morgan's book targets these readers, taking them through the many options available today—both traditional and nontraditional. Part one is a planning guide and asks readers to analyze what fuels their passions, gives advice on how to make a plan for the future, and evaluates how much money is needed to fulfill one's goals. In parts two through five, teens are given the pros and cons of each possible scenario post-graduation, including attending college, both two year and four year; engaging in service, both domestic and foreign; obtaining a job, whether getting hired or starting one's own business; and traveling, for fun, to perform service, or to learn a language. Morgan gives substantial advice and suggestions on how to make the right choice and how to succeed once that choice has been made. Suitable for any high school library, as all students at some point must make important decisions about their futures.—
