Time To Recharge, Harper!

PreS-Gr 1–Make no mistake about this rambunctious little robot: Harper does not like to recharge. After all, what’s the point? Recharging makes Harper miss out on all sorts of the best things. Miller explores the all-too-familiar scene of a child who does not want to nap. Bright, adorable digital illustrations detail Harper’s quest to avoid a charge, but this very busy bot and his buddies soon realize that resting/recharging is required for optimal fun. Classmates and teachers observe Harper feeding the canvas and painting a fish as his exhaustion increases. After waking from a necessary nap, Harper’s teacher informs him of his impeccable timing to help with clean-up. Giggles are sure to follow the story’s conclusion.
