Amson-Bradshaw offers numerous ideas for young creators to use when making their own unique creations. The text also provides space for readers to brainstorm and add their own drawings. Featured topics include getting started, amazing materials, transportation and machines, domestic technology, AI and robots, buildings, and helping people and the planet. A few pages are designed to be cut out. The illustrations work well for the book’s interactive nature, encouraging young readers to participate fully.
VERDICT A great gift for young readers interested in making things. The book is not likely to last long in a library because of its interactive nature.
