Thieving Weasels

Gr 9 Up—After leaving his thieving family and starting out on his own, Cam Smith is finally happy. He has been accepted to Princeton University and is dating the girl of his dreams. Everything is perfect until Cam's family track him down and insist that he help them with one last con. With little choice, Cam agrees to their terms. Only then does he start to uncover the full extent of their devious plan. But with a little ingenuity and a few schemes of his own, Cam is determined not to let his family ruin his life again. Cam's dysfunctional, albeit comical relatives will entertain readers and keep them on their toes. Flashbacks of Cam's childhood provide necessary insight into the family dynamics and his desire for a future without them. Narrator Robbie Daymond realistically depicts the personalities and idiosyncrasies of each character, making for an enjoyable listening experience.
