There's Always Help

Gr 9 Up—What are the warning signs of someone contemplating suicide? What can you do to help prevent suicide? How can you cope after someone you know commits suicide? After each question is posed by a teenage host, the video segues to other young people roleplaying a scenario. Then, the host discusses what the response should be in an actual situation. Following each vignette, questions are posed onscreen. Information about resources and organizations that teens can turn to in times of need is provided. The teacher's guide offers activities, discussion questions, resource information, and the film's script.
