The volumes are well designed to inform and entertain jocks and technology geeks alike. In each title, the busy designs are stocked with text boxes set against colorful backgrounds, color photos of action on the fields and ice as well as behind the scenes (many featuring currently active players), and views of gadgetry that make the games possible-from scoreboards to cell phones.
