She's just written a song and wants to dance, but when she shows her song to her papa, mama, and brother, Wally Nut, there is "not a chance" they will dance. Hazel keeps dancing, though, in her polka-dot pants, undeterred, and knows just who to call: Grandma Nut. Together they dance "Oppa Gangnut Style," and it's not too long before the rest of the family can't resist and begin dancing and singing along. Children will love the energetic digital illustrations and participatory aspects of the story.
VERDICT A fun and energetic title that will inspire much dancing as well as repeated check-outs.

Hazel Nut can't convince her family to sing and dance along with her new song, so she calls in the big guns: "Grandma Nut / burst through the door. / She disco-danced / across the floor." As in the first Nuts book, while the boisterous digital art and punning asides are entertaining, the text lacks groove without the corresponding (online) song.
