Gr 3 Up—This audio time capsule highlights a typical hour of programming from XYZPDQ Satellite Radio Network, including ads for Dozinoff, Wypitol, Scratchinoft, Chilloutin, and Super Sugary Sugar Flakes cereal. The hour starts off with "The Incredibly Spaced-Out Adventures of Jupiter Jackson," a serial space opera with a full cast. "Monster League Baseball" includes Frankenstein, Dracula, Darth Vader (with light saber bat), and others. "The Math Game" is a quiz game for kids. During "Monday Science" the moderator discusses time machines with Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, and Oog the Caveman. "Archaeology Hour" features Tutankhamen's brother, Tutanophtun, with lots of subtle fart jokes. Then Eric Herman and his band perform two rock songs, "PSA" and "Time Machine."
VERDICT This humorous album will appeal to a tween audience.
