The Great Core Caper: A This Way or That Novel

Gr 3–5—The planetary core of the planet Goober-Delta-9 has been stolen, and the Goober-oids have enlisted the help of the Bravest Warriors, a group of futuristic teenage heroes and their fantasy creature sidekicks. The Warriors mission is to retrieve the core from Syd Beemer-Boof, who has hidden it on his Fun Planet, which doubles as an amusement park. So begins a rowdy romp through space, where readers will encounter many wild adventures and outlandish characters, human and otherwise. Formatted like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book, this volume allows kids to make decisions for the characters and influence the path that the plot will take. Short chapters and hilarious, action-packed adventures, along with the opportunity to interact with the story, make this a good choice for some reluctant readers.
