The gestures are taught in pictures, but some will benefit from any video demonstration freely available online. In Pura Belpré Award Honoree Lora’s bright graphics, children of many different skin tones are shown using the signs with facial expressions and situations that make the concepts very clear.
VERDICT This is useful on many levels for all babies and young children as another way to express themselves, regardless of hearing ability.
