She is looking around the forest to see what others are bringing. “Fox knit a special scarf, and Owl made a pie.” The teeny tiny turkey isn’t quite sure what she can provide, as each time she tries to knit or bake something teeny tiny, it backfires. Finally, her friends convince her that a gift from her heart is the perfect size gift for all to enjoy. Vibrant illustrations and a rhythmic flow of text makes for an enjoyable short tale perfect for Autumn.
VERDICT Recommended for general purchase to add to a holiday collection for young readers.
