PreS-K—Sorg's collection of soft, mellow folk tunes include six original songs, two adapted traditional songs, and two instrumental interludes. Unlike many musicians, Sorg carefully enunciates the lyrics to the songs, making it easy for listeners to sing along. Vocal and instrumental performances are excellent, including guitar, violin, piano, drums, bongos, and percussion. Sorg sings about clouds, dolphins, clocks, swans, stars and angels. Several songs include sound effects, such as dolphin vocalizations and ticking clocks.
VERDICT These songs fulfill the goal of lulling young children to sleep.
