Spaghetti Eddie! and Other Children's Videos

PreS-Gr 3—Oklahoma native Brendan Parker performs five songs from his first album, Spaghetti Eddie and Other Children's Songs (AV Café, 2011). Parker plays guitar or keyboard while his band mate performs on drums and percussion on the undecorated set. The vocals and harmonies are very pleasant and the instruments (guitar, keyboard, drums, and percussion) are expertly played. A diverse group of children dances, plays with balloons, and blows bubbles during some of the songs. The tunes include "Together Like You and Me" ("you" and "me" are compared to bacon and eggs, thunder and lightning, mashed potatoes and gravy, etc.), "Body Parts," "Kitty Cat Town" (a blues tune with simple animation in the background), "Spaghetti Eddie" (rock with an Italian flavor), and "Sleepy Song" (a lullaby accompanied by a child's xylophone with an amazingly clear sound).
