An energetic young teen host grabs the attention of students, and the colorful graphics and upbeat music add interest. Some of the topics presented include spotting the difference between physical and chemical changes, signs of chemical reactions, and the law of conservation of matter. Each two- to three-minute segment offers an example and is accompanied by a short review quiz.
VERDICT A quick introduction to basic chemistry concepts with an exciting approach, this is a good addition to middle school chemistry classrooms.
