Gr 9 Up—Time traveler Jonah Skidmore comes face to face with his old enemies, Gary and Hodge, who seek to destroy Jonah's life and time. While recalling characters and events from the previous six books, this series installment focuses on Charles Lindbergh's transatlantic flight and the kidnapping of his baby son. Jonah must work with Lindbergh to save his own abducted sister; his parents, who have been de-aged; and his friends, JB and Angela. During the nonstop action, Jonah finds time to ponder the possibility that he might be Lindbergh's son, one of the missing children stolen from history; the book's culmination that reveals Jonah's true identity is astounding. The highlight of this series is the author's use of historical events and people—a great way for readers to learn history while being dazzled with a story of time travel by youngsters like themselves. Chris Sorensen's narration is flawless.
