The simple text is accompanied by cartoon illustrations that depict people of different ethnic backgrounds as friendly round-headed figures. The scenarios presented are kid-friendly and relatable; a young boy, whose sister is sick, daydreams about what it would be like to be a nurse. Each title concludes with a recap of a few of the new words encountered in the text. The Spanish translation is well done.
