Power Rangers: Wild Force

Gr 2–5—The popular TV series is back with a five-disc collection. After a mystical group of creatures called the Orgs kill his scientist parents, Cole Evans is taken in by a jungle tribe and raised to protect the environment and defend it from those who threaten it on a daily basis. Cole is sent out on a quest with nothing but a map and a red crystal. At the end of his journey, he discovers the floating island of Animarium and its leader, Princess Shayla. It's here that Cole meets the rest of the bearers of the crystals, known as the Power Rangers. They band together to fight the threat of the Orgs. Young viewers will love the mythology of the show and the fast-paced, action-packed fight scenes. Fans of Pokémon and other incarnations of the Power Rangers will delight in this series while also learning about ways to treat the environment respectfully.
