Once there, they and a phalanx of frogs are serenaded by a bullfrog. When Pound Dog sings in response to Frog's request, his howl is dismissed as "not singing." Back home, as the two settle down to sleep among the other toys, Pound Dog is unperturbed, confident in his own voice. The full-color artwork of the frumpy stuffed dog with floppy ears and his frog friend is busy, but the focus is always on the pair.
