There's cotton candy, a giddy sense of daring and anticipation, and at last the Ferris wheel, which morphs throughout into a growing garden, a washing machine, dandelion fuzz, bath tubs plunging into the water, and more while the people below look like "dancing jellybeans." Beguiling candy colors, lines, and shapes play marvelously in the well-designed pages. In the end, the siblings declare they have flown, "fuzzy with the Ferris wheel feeling/Now and forever a part of the sky."
