This familiar scenario is illustrated with pictures that emphasize the contrast between Mo and Beau while still making both characters lovable. There is plenty of white space for the simple text, which is printed in a variety of well-chosen fonts, making the book easy to read.

VERDICT A sweet choice for a one-on-one or group read-alouds.
